Asian Authority Audit

If you are doing everything right at work—delivering results, being reliable, taking ownership—but still not being seen as a leader, this is where we identify why. This work is for Asian American women who are already performing at a high level but are no longer willing to be overlooked. If you want to stop being evaluated and start positioning yourself for leadership, apply below.

Many Asian-American women were taught that hard work, loyalty, and reliability would naturally lead to recognition.

So they work longer hours, take on more responsibility and become the person everyone depends on.

And then they wonder why they're still being overlooked for leadership opportunities.

Because working harder is not what gets you elevated as leadership.

In many cases, it reinforces your identity as the person who executes.

The women advancing into leadership roles aren't necessarily working more.

They're creating a different experience where their ideas carry weight, their thinking is recognized, and they are seen as someone who belongs at the next level.

If you've ever been told to speak up more, be more strategic, or show more executive presence, The Authority Shift was created for you.

Comment SHIFT and I'll send it over.
If you’ve ever thought, “I already have more than If you’ve ever thought, “I already have more than my parents ever did, so I shouldn’t ask for more,” this episode is for you.

This week, I’m taking Asian guilt in a direction we haven’t gone before on the School of Self-Worth: the guilt that comes from gratitude. It’s the kind that keeps you working through evenings and weekends, quiet about what you’re worth, and saying yes to projects that were never yours to take on, even when you’re already in a leadership role.

Here’s the truth. Your parents’ sacrifice is real, and honoring it doesn’t mean shrinking or taking less than you want. I’m sharing a simple 2-step practice to clear the guilt, plus what happened for my client when she did. People now take notes when she speaks, and her boss just told her she’s up for a promotion.

In this episode:
⭐ Why guilt that comes from love and gratitude crashes your system
⭐ The 3 ways it shows up at work: overworking, staying quiet on compensation, and saying yes by default
⭐ Why your personal power is the biggest ROI for your family
⭐ How to feel gratitude without obligation, and appreciate yourself on a whole new level
⭐ How my client went from holding back to being the person leadership turns to first

(Note: this episode is about the guilt that comes from inside you. For parents who guilt-trip you, go to Episode 122.)

The more approval you need before making a decisio The more approval you need before making a decision, the more authority you give away.

Many Asian-American women were taught that seeking input is responsible.

So they gather more data, ask more people for their opinion, do more research, double-check their thinking.

But at some point, what feels like diligence starts looking like hesitation.

And hesitation has a cost.

Not just in decision-making, but in if you’re seen as an influential leader.

If you've ever been told to be more strategic, more confident, or show more executive presence, The Authority Shift was created for you.

I’m still sitting in how it felt to be with these I’m still sitting in how it felt to be with these incredible women for three days at the ⚡️Dynamic Dreams⚡️ mastermind event in Seattle.

It was more than an event. Day 1️⃣ was coming home. Day 2️⃣ was relaxing, staying neutral, and trusting ourselves. Day 3️⃣ was being in action.

These women didn’t just sit there and listen; they did the deep dive work to excavate what’s next for 2026 and to prime themselves for a quantum 2027. 🔥

What emerged was bigger than anything they’ve let themselves desire before. Goals and dreams that are immeasurably, exceedingly, abundantly bigger than they thought possible.🎯

A few things I heard over the weekend:

“I am capable, just as I am.”

“I can, I will.”

“To lead is to be OK with doing the best I can with the knowledge that I don’t know everything.”

They’re walking away feeling the thrill and clarity that comes from creating new businesses, shifting career, and connecting deeply with themselves. They saw the exact steps to become the biggest, boldest versions of themselves yet. They’re also - especially! - keeping it simple and doing it RELAXED. 💆🏻‍♀️

If you’ve been working hard to earn the authority and ownership that’s already inside you, this is your sign that it doesn’t have to be heavy. Being around women who see you fully changes what you believe you can do.

If you want to feel that kind of coming home, dm MASTERMIND and I’ll send you the details. 💛
